Gratuity Application
To qualify in accordance with the 1881 Act of Parliament all beneficiaries of gratuities must:
Have lived in the Borough for the last 15 years
60 years of age and not working
Have only limited income and assets - if married, a partner's income and assets will also be taken into account
The gratuity payable is £300 per annum payable at the rate of £75 quarterly
